Language in the Vision English In Travel English courses at Liv English, the "Travel English Course Program" approved by the Ministry of National Education, Board of Education and Discipline is applied.
In our travel English courses, trainees are taught English vocabulary and phrases that they may need when traveling abroad.
For this purpose, trainees are told:
- Easily schedule the necessary reservations and sightseeing tours before going abroad,
- To carry out official procedures at the stage of entry into the foreign country and to communicate with the officials in English,
- Communicate in English for transportation, accommodation, personal needs and visits in a foreign country,
- It is aimed that they will be able to express their feelings and thoughts in English during their trips.
Topics in our Travel English courses:
- Basic Travel Phrases: Everyday phrases such as greetings, acquaintances, thank you.
- Airport Procedures: English terms about check-in, baggage drop-off, security checks.
- Making a Reservation: Required wording of making reservations for hotels, restaurants, and transportation.
- Asking and Finding Directions: Asking for a place, reading a map and giving directions.
- Shopping: In-store communication, asking prices and shopping.
- Emergency Communication: Speaking skills related to emergencies such as hospitals, police, etc.
- Food & Beverage: Terms included in restaurant menus, ordering.
- Cultural Interaction: Communicating with local people and cultural exchange.
These topics are carefully selected to make it easier for trainees to cope with situations they may encounter while traveling.
