Our English Courses for Children Ages 7-10

Children between the ages of 7 and 10 think more in terms of concrete objects and events. Although the mental development of children develops rapidly during this period, it should not be forgotten that the ability to think is largely limited to concrete events. In other words, abstract thinking skills are not yet fully developed.

In all foreign language courses in our country and in English courses for children aged 7-10 at Liv English, English language learning processes are supported for trainees aged 7-10 in lessons and activities according to the development characteristics of concrete thinking skills.

Lessons and activities are made fun, the motivation of the trainees is increased and their in-class interactions are increased.

English in the Vision English In English courses for children aged 7-10, the "English Early Language Teaching Course Program for Children" approved by the Ministry of National Education, Board of Education and Discipline is applied.

Language in Vision English In order to ensure that trainees in the 7-10 age group at Liv English learn English in accordance with their level and internationally accepted CEFR standards;

  • A more systematic approach is adopted. The focus is on vocabulary, basic grammar rules, and speaking practice.
  • The focus is on improving grammar and vocabulary and developing reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in a balanced way.
  • English interaction and communication skills are also increased through group work and projects.
  • Trainees' language learning processes are supported in a fun, interactive way, and their motivation is increased.

Language English in Vision At Liv English, in order to attract the attention of the trainees in their learning processes and to ensure their willing and active participation:

  • Game-Based Learning: Games make the learning process of trainees fun. Language practice is done with word games, puzzles and role-playing games.
  • Songs and Rhythms: English trainee songs and rhymes make it easier to remember the rhythm of the language and the words. (Songs are also useful for pronunciation development.)
  • Storybooks: Picture storybooks enrich trainees' vocabulary and improve their listening skills. (They learn new words and phrases through stories.)
  • Visual Materials: Learning is visually supported with pictures, flash cards and video content. (Visual elements help make words easier to remember.)
  • Interactive Apps and Games: With language learning apps and games, trainees are allowed to learn at their own pace. (Technology is an effective tool in trainees' language learning.)
  • Social Interaction: Group activities and language activities with their friends are done. (Trainees talking to each other in English increases their language practice.)
  • Creative Activities: Learning is enriched and made fun by using English words during creative activities such as painting and handicrafts.

Through the combination of methods, the trainee is encouraged to have a fun experience while improving their language skills more effectively.

With our English language clubs, activities, camps and projects based on the Theory of Multiple Intelligences that appeal to visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles, the development of trainees' English listening, reading, speaking, writing, communication and interaction skills is supported with English activities supported by artificial intelligence without the need for any partner.

In addition, it is aimed that the trainees will be successful in the English lessons at the school by supporting the school English lessons and preparing them for their written exams.
